In School
Our flagship model rehearses during the school day to ensure that every student who wants to sing is able to sing — regardless of their access to transportation. NVNO staff work with School Leaders to determine a best time during the week to convene up to 50 students for energized vocal music rehearsal with our complement of teaching staff: conductor, dance instructor, pianist, and program coordinator. Two community-level performances are offered at the school site during school hours to celebrate the creativity of your young singers.
After School
Calling all After School Site Coordinators! Are your students looking for an artistic experience that they can feel proud of? Are you looking for an opportunity to have a meaningful concert experience for your community to celebrate your program? Expand the breadth and depth of your after-school program with New Voices New Orleans! Typically 1.5 hours, our after-school rehearsals service up to 50 students in dynamic rehearsals with our standard complement of staff: conductor, dance instructor, pianist, and program coordinator. Two community-level performances are offered at the school site during the hours of your program to celebrate the creativity of your young singers.
Pop-Up Event
Are you interested in building an NVNO program in your school or community? We can deliver a one-day, three-hour, pop-up event that tests our approach in your community. With engaging themes like “The Water is Wide,” “My Strength, Our Power,” and “March March,” NVNO practitioners engage participants in three hours of song, dance, and art-making that result in a small, community level performance.
